How to share MTN data with Other Networks ( Airtel, Glo, 9mobile)

Sharing data between subscribers on the same mobile networks is common among mobile users.

However, sending data from MTN to other networks such as Glo, 9mobile, or Airtel is not currently possible. These networks are competitors and do not allow data sharing between them.

This means that if you are an MTN customer and want to share data with someone on a different network, you will need to purchase a separate data bundle for them.

The same goes for customers of other networks who want to share data with an MTN customer.

It is important to note that this policy is not unique to MTN, as other networks also have similar restrictions. This is because each network wants to maintain its customer base and keep them from switching to other networks.

How to Check Your Data Balance

It’s essential to keep track of your data balance to avoid running out of data. To check your data balance, dial the code *131*4#, or if you prefer SMS, you can send 2 to 131. This will give you information on your remaining data balance and the expiration date of your current data bundle.

Conclusion

MTN Gift Data is a convenient service that allows users to share data with other subscribers. Sharing or transferring data is simple and can be done by dialing *131# and following the prompts.

However, it is essential to note that sharing data between different mobile networks is not currently possible due to restrictions in place by each network to maintain its customer base.

Also, it is essential to keep track of your data balance by checking it regularly with the code *131*4# or by sending an SMS to 131.
